If the Oceans Were Ink: An Unlikely Friendship and a Journey to the Heart of the Quran by Carla Power
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A fresh and thoughtful book to read especially in this Ramadhan. Seems like this book has brought back my love to Quran that has been murky since too many hard-line groups with their hatred and rage steal this world spotlight. No wonder if this book won The 2016 Pulitzer Prize Finalist for General Nonfiction
Those of you who wonder what Islam says about men and women, war and peace, veil and unveiling, Jews and People of The Book (′Ahl al-Kitāb), and other debatable issues, this is the book to read.
